For the Founder's Edition bands, we made two lengths, Standard and Long, to provide a better fit for more people. Standard length bands are approx. 15 in. / 39 cm., which is the most common traditional resistance band size. Long length bands are longer by approx. 1 in. / 2.5 cm. Generally speaking, we think the Standard length band will fit better for people 5'11'' / 180 cm. in height or under, while the Long band fits better for those taller. Please consider your primary use for the bands as well. We think the Standard bands are better for exercises like Pilates, rehab, and weight training; while the Long bands can feel better for wider leg stances (like Sumo squats or wide lateral lunges) or more dynamic exercises. We understand there are leg width variations, which cannot be estimated in an FAQ. Depending on the exercise, you can buckle around the thighs, above or below the knees, or around the ankles or feet. Whether you're walking, lunging, squatting, doing mat exercises, or even sitting-- you will feel the effects of the bands right away. IMPORTANT-- NEVER STRETCH YOUR BOOYA BAND BEYOND DOUBLE (2x) THE ORIGINAL LENGTH. This will cause the fabric and elastic to overstretch, and potentially wear out.
